End poverty by following the example of St Francis of Assisi, don't dispose of your possesions like he did, it's different times, we just detach from "things", we enjoy them for as long as we have them, because tomorrow the tide may turn and all may be lost, but we'll be steady, because all we really need is within ourselves, all else is temorary.

2. In the new film "The Help" we can see and feel the pain, fear and frustration of the African American community pre-civil rights in the USA. How the basic needs for this group minority are minimal, and they have no way out but only what the general establisment dictates: servitude. In the film there are two fractions: the agents of change, wanting to tell their stories and make a difference, and the agents of inertia, that want to keep the establishment and traditional differences between the race-social classes for their own selfish reasons of power, money and control. These inert people are so stuck in their backwards ideologies that are very incapable of opening their heart and mind in order to share their wealth with others, then stoping equality and human progress from happenning. But on the other hand, a small group of "black maids" and a "white female writer-wanna-be" unite and cause a revolution in the community when their simple stories or personal pain and mistreatment are published in a book. The story is witty, funny, sad but real, and it makes you wonder at the end, what kind of individual am I, an agent of change, or an agent of inert traditions? I recommend to watch it, enjoy it and then make a conscious choice, we all can truly make a difference no matter how small!
